The Michael B. Finnegan Foundation , Inc. is a non-profit 501c-3 organization established with the goal of improving the lives of children with disabilities, and to remember Michael Bradley Finnegan, a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend who was tragically taken from us on September 11, 2001.
Since its inception in 2002, the foundation’s mission has been to honor Mike’s memory and spirit by continuing his way of living life: giving generously. Our primary fundraiser, the annual “Finny’s Hole-In-One Golf Tourney” has allowed us to give generously each of the past five years to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
We are proud to announce our affiliation with The Children’s Golf Foundation and their golf teaching facility for mentally and physically challenged children. After learning about Mike and our foundation, the Children’s Golf Foundation has decided to honor Mike by naming their facility the “Michael B. Finnegan Golf Learning Center-Home of the Children’s Golf Foundation.” We hope our combined efforts will help many challenged children discover the lessons Mike learned from the game of golf; Honor, Discipline, Competition, Patience and Comaraderie.
